Exciting news, Vikings community! The first major phase of renovations to Hoover High School will begin this summer. We are transforming the 10th Street entrance with a brand-new main entrance, additional offices, and modernized meeting spaces designed to better serve our students and families for years to come.

More information about updated student arrival and pick-up traffic flow patterns will be shared in August once our staff returns and construction wraps up.

This progress is all thanks to you! In 2023, the North Canton City Schools community approved a bond issue that secured $33.8 million in state aid for our new middle school (on track to open in Fall 2027) and promised $7 million in upgrades to Hoover High School over the next decade and we are so excited to be getting started!
