The North Canton City School District is proud of its tradition of excellence in academics, the arts, and athletics, but we recognize the importance of continuous growth if we are to continue our reputation as an outstanding school district. We are committed to continuous improvement, as we are determined to provide the best possible setting for students to grow academically and developmentally. We recognize that our 4,400 students must receive an education that meets the Ohio Learning Standards and provides a curriculum to inspire students to pursue their passion. We offer an extensive range of activities for our students in the visual and performing arts, competitive academic teams and athletics, which provide opportunities to foster creativity, teamwork, and critical thinking skills. Through these extra-curricular and co-curricular activities as well as our emphasis on service learning, students will develop into responsible citizens. Furthermore, we believe that embracing diversity enriches our community. Education in North Canton City Schools is a partnership between students, their families and the schools.
