=        Student Equity workshops – 34 different participants at five different events

=        High Expectations for ALL Students – 61 staff members over 6 different events

=        Removing Student Barriers (culture, race, poverty, disability, language, etc) --  51 staff members over 5 different events

=        Elec Simon – spoke to all MS and HS students about being accepting of everyone – Nov. 2017

=        Project Mosaic – day long workshop for 90 HS students focused on the theme of Listen to Understand, Not Reply, aimed to help students develop a deeper understanding of resiliency, and how it applies to their own life story – Dec. 2017

=        Canton City Police Officer LaMar Sharpe – spoke to MS students about making good choices Oct. 2018

=        Brooks Gibbs – spoke to all 3rd through 12th graders about facing aggression – Feb. 2018

o   Lunch meeting with HS Student Social Justice Group to further discuss issues

=        David Flood – spoke to all MS and HS students about treating each other with dignity and respect – Dec. 2018

o   Lunch meeting with MS & HS Student Social Justice Group to further discuss issues

=        Power of Positivity Programs ran by Student Social Justice teams at MS and HS – students initiated activities to promote positivity among the student body – 2017 to 2019

o   Positive messages posted on all students’ lockers in 2016-17 at high school

o   HS students visited MS classrooms to promote self-worth and treating each other with respect in 2017-18

o   HS students visited elementary classrooms to promote self-worth and treating each other with respect in 2018-19

o   “Choose Kind” slogan t-shirt campaign in 2017-18 at high school

o   “Love is Greater Than Hate” slogan t-shirt campaign in 2018-19 at middle school

o   “You Matter” slogan t-shirt campaign at all schools led by HS student social justice group in 2018-19

=        Participation with 30+ school districts in Stark and surrounding counties in Social Justice Student academies and showcase events (4 per year from Fall 2016 through Spring 2019)
