Intro to Business
Students will learn basic business and marketing concepts, terminology, and applications.  Business topics covered will include financial management, consumer issues and purchasing strategies, ethics, management skills, business structure, investment options, and current events. The marketing portion of the course will cover the concepts of sales, promotion, purchasing, pricing, and distribution.  Students will also complete business-related projects, hear from various business professionals, and explore possible business-related career opportunities. 

Web tools
This course will allow students to use cutting-edge, industry standard software to learn graphic design concepts to design and develop Web pages.  Concepts covered will include file managing, designing sites and strategizing, creating and working with graphics, buttons, rollovers, animation, links, tables, style sheets, objects and layers, and managing a Web server and files.  Students will work with and integrate Adobe CS3 Fireworks, Flash, and Dreamweaver and other Adobe software.

Business Management
This course will encourage students to participate in learning how businesses function in a global environment and train students to meet the expectations of our fast-changing economy by providing them an opportunity to operate their own business.  Through this hands-on experience, students elect officers, write a business plan, study consumer behavior, perform market research, research and order products, create and maintain a Web Site, develop marketing and sales strategies, and package and distribute products.
