Food and Nutrition Services is pleased to offer parents the ability to manage their child’s meal account over the Internet by using PayForIt.net, an online school management tool. PayForIt.net may be accessed via North Canton City School’s website or via www.payforit.net. With PayForIt.net, parents can log in at any time to make a deposit to their child’s account, view their child’s account balance, set up recurring deposits to their child’s account, set up e-mail notifications when their child’s account falls below a certain dollar amount, or request a report showing what the child has purchased on their account. Payments processed before 9pm ET should post to the student’s account the next morning, in most cases. There is a 4.75% transaction fee that is assessed to each transaction for credit cards and a $1.25 fee for using a check online. The fee is only charged when you add money to your child’s account. You can view their account balance and see what they have purchased free of charge. If you have multiple children enrolled in the District, you can add money to each child’s account during the same transaction. Transactions processed by PayForIt.net are safe and secure using Secure Socket Link, SSL, technology with Digicert. With this technology, schools can be assured that all student information, credit card information and all other student data will be highly encrypted and secure. If you wish to use a Mac computer to process a transaction, you must use the Firefox internet browser; PayForIt.net is not currently compatible with Safari. You may download Firefox for free by visiting www.mozilla.com. If you choose not to use PayForIt.net for credit card transactions, the District continues to accept cash and checks at each school cafeteria. If you have any questions about this, please contact the Food Service Director, Amy Merda-Wallace, at 330-497-5670, or by email at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
