Again this year, North Canton Middle School has a 2-hour delay schedule in place should the district elect to use a 2-hour delay for circumstances like inclement weather.  If you are alerted to the fact that the district or our building is operating on a 2-hour delay, your child should arrive at school 2 hours later than normal.  This means that if the bus normally picks your child up at 6:50am, he or she will be picked up around 8:50am on a delay day (the bus garage recommends being ready for the bus at least 5 minutes early, however).  If you normally drop your child off at the school at 7:10am, please drop him or her off at 9:10am.  The NCMS school day will start at 9:30am on a delay day and will still end at 2:35pm.  Students will still have all of their academic and exploratory classes and will still eat lunch at approximately the same time.  As a reminder, if you have younger children who attend an elementary school, their daily schedule remains the same as there is no delay in the start of their school day.
