The Board of Governors is pleased to announce that this year’s Education Endowment Fund Recognition Awards Dinner will be held on Thursday, March 8, 2012, in the Hoover High School Commons beginning at 6:00 P.M. Following dinner, this year’s Endowment Grant Winners will give a short presentation on their award-winning projects. The Endowment Board will then present this year’s Recognition Awards to the following individuals:
- Barb Kirby, secretary at the Early Childhood Center
- Marylin Hlass, retired teacher of the deaf and hearing impaired
- Jeff Kreis, Hoover High School math teacher
- Lori Cochenour, parent volunteer.
Dinner tickets can be purchased from any school office or from the District Office for $15. For additional information, please contact Kris Freday at 330-497-5600. |
 With the upcoming January 30th launch of the high school " Bring Your Own Device" program, we have prepared a short video explaining the high school student guidelines. The video covers the purpose of the program, acceptable devices, when and where devices can be used, consequences for misuse, and further resources. The video can be viewed on our BYOD website at: http://byod.northcantonschools.org
